Lessons, Master Class, Workshops, and Lectures at the school

I have been conducting master classes, workshops and clinics at universities and music conservatories around the world for over 15 years (list). With an experiential, non-Academic approach I introduce participants to a variety of unique methods and techniques for improvisation, we explore creative approaches and ways of applying MA 間 thinking to music and sound making. The format for my program is flexible; including lecture/conversation/Q&A, demonstration, guided practice and performance.

レクチャー、マスタークラス、ワークショップ、クリニック。過去20年間、ライブ演奏ツアー生活を行う傍ら、北米を中心として世界中の大学、音楽院で講義を行ってきました。 パーカッションを中心に様々な楽器にて使われるエクステンデッド•テクニックを紹介し、その取り組み方を独自に分析、紹介。 グループ•ワークショップでは即興演奏をコーチ。また、音の解明／分解／説明を独自に、 過去20年間現場における実経験を紹介してきました。日本人に最もわかりやすい『間』を即興に組み入れたり、テクスチャー、 波動の異なる音など、様々な方向から音や音楽を一緒に考えます。１時間半程度の短時間クラスからレジデンシーまでプログラム致します。　 講義を行った学校のリストはコチラ。
